- The CDS2438 stairs are used for boarding and exiting planes whose door sills are from 1.8 to 3.8 metres above ground level.
- Electric Micro-movement control: allowing to move the steps around the aircraft without assistance from other equipment
- Two stabilizing supports.
- Wheels with integrated hubs and ball bearings are fitted with solid rubber tyres.
